Arshihaty Stone Forest Scenic Area Is Located Within The Scope Between 43°59€™ ~ 44°02€™N, And 111°33€™ ~ 117°37€™E, Covering An Area Of About 5Km2, With An Elevation Between 1600M And 1700M. The Stone Forest Is Formed By Adamellite And Moyite Series (The Beidashan Rock Boby) Which Are Resulted From The Condensation Of Late Jurassic Intruded Magmas About 180~150 Ma Ago. Three Sets Of Primary Joints Arcs, E Well Developed In Granites, Especially The Horizontal Joints. Since 8 Ma Ago, Under The Effects Of Outer Forces, Particularly The Quaternary Glaciations, The Stone Forest Shows An Infinite Variety Offantastic Shapes.
