The Arulmigu Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil Hindu Temple, Matale, Sri Lanka was built in 1874, but it was greatly damaged during the anti-Tamil riots in 1983, but was restored. The temple is dedicated to Mariamman, the goddess of rain and fertility. This photograph, taken in illustration mode, is of one of the colorful statues at the entrance to the temple.
