Baltic State Technical University Voenmeh Named After D. F. Ustinov. D. F. Ustinov Bstu "Voenmeh" Is A State Educational Institution Of Higher Professional Education Of Federal Subordination. In 1872-1874, The Building Of Tsarevich Nikolay's Vocational School, Which Is Now The Main Building Of The University, Was Built On The First Company Of The Izmailovsky Regiment. The School Was Founded In 1875 To Train Master Locksmiths For Industry. The School Was Established On The Basis Of The House Of Charity And Craft Education And Was Its Successor, The School Was Intended For Vocational Education Of Children Mainly From Poor Families. The Name Of Tsarevich Nicholas Was Assigned To The School In Memory Of The Deceased Eldest Son Of Emperor Alexander Ii.
