Baroque Church Of Peace Them. Holy Trinity In Åšwidnica From 1657. Church Of Peace Holy Trinity In Åšwidnica Is The Largest Wooden Baroque Temple In Europe. Built In The Years 1656 - 1657, Erected In A Half-Timbered System As A Central Structure Based On A Wooden Skeleton Filled With Clay And Straw. It Was Built On A Greek Cross Plan. The Baptism Hall And The Sacristy Were Added To The Central Building On The Eastern Side, The Dead Hall On The Western Side, The Wedding Hall On The Southern Side, And The Field Hala On The Northern Side. The Church Can Accommodate Up To 7,500 Believers, Of Which Up To 3,000 Seats. The Church Of Peace Belongs To The Åšwidnica Parish Of The Evangelical-Augsburg Church In Poland. Since 2001, It Has Been Inscribed On The Unesco World Heritage List.
