Blasting Of The Skip Mining Tower Of The "Lazy" Coal Mine In The Town Of Orlová, July 27, 2024. The Construction Of The Mine Began In 1890, And The Then Name Was Neuschacht (New Pit). The Symbolic Last Truckload Of Coal Was Taken Out Of The Mine On November 28, 2019. From 2020, Technical Liquidation Of The Mine Took Place, Which Lasted Until 2023. In Almost 130 Years Of Operation, 145 Million Tons Of Coal Were Mined In The Mine. Approx. 80 Kilograms Of The Legendary Czech Semtex Explosive Were Used.
