California Participants adopt a duck on-line or at the free family festival for $5.00 per entry. Children can opt to decorate their ducks prior to the races. Several races occur throughout the day with over 5,000 rubber ducks racing down from a man made pond into a waterway to a chute, competing for one of the cash grand prizes of $2,000, $1,000 and $500. In addition to the rubber duck races, the festival includes a food court area, non-profit community partners, a stage and program filled with local talent and performers, and a “Kid Zone” area, complete with a rock climbing wall, face-painting, air bouncer, games,and other activities.
