Entrance Gate Into The Historical Ancient Complex Chogha Zanbil. Chogha Zanbil (Elamite: Dur Untash) Is An Ancient Elamite Complex In The Khuzestan Province Of Iran. The Place Is Located About 30Km Soth-East Of Susa And Is One Of Only Few Existant Ziggurats Outside Of Mesopotamia. Chogha In Bakhtiari Means Hill. Choga Zanbil Means €Žbasket Mound‌. It Was Built About 1250 Bc By The King Untash-Napirisha. The Whole Complex Was Built From Mud Bricks Or Occasionally Baked Bricks And Was Dedicated To Inshushinak (Insusinak), The Bull-God Of Susa. Chogha Zanbil Became The First Iranian Site To Be Inscribed On The Unesco World Heritage List
