Pictured is an engraved stone commemoration of the launch of the `Revival of the Egyptian Museum` outside the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Cairo, Egypt. The Egyptian and German cooperative initiative was launched the 15th of November, 2013, on the museum`s 111th Anniversary. The museum was built in 1901 to a design by French architect Marcel Dourgnon. In 2022, the museum is due to be superseded by the newer and larger Grand Egyptian Museum at Giza.
