Milepost 10 Looking South -- George Millican Road Is Part Of A 30 Mile Stretch Of Asphalt That Reaches From Prineville Airport At Its North End To Us Highway 20, Three Miles East Of Millican, At Its South End. It Traverses Remote Federal Lands, Passing Bear Creek Buttes To Its East And The Central Oregon Badlands To Its West. The Remote Highway Serves As Emergency Access To Forest Fire Vehicles, A Service Road For Power Line Maintenance, And For Truckers Looking For A Shortcut. Horse Ridge Is In The Distance, With Pine Mountain Behind It.
