Carved from the Andes range by the la Junta river on its way to the Reloncaví fjord, is very close to the border with Argentina. Its granite mountains are becoming an international hotspot for rock climbers. Some rock walls reach one thousand metters of vertical cliffs and have been compared to those of Yosemite.
