During The Easter Rising Of 1916 It Was The Headquarter Of The Irish Rebels; In The Course Of The Fighting Versus The British Troops, It Was Destroyed By Fire. In The Museum Housed Inside, Is Conserved An Original Copy Of The Proclamation Of The Irish Republic.
