Lighthouse And Winetower At Kinnaird Head. Here We See The Kinnaird Head Lighthouse Located In Fraserburgh, Grampian In North East Scotland. The Lighthouse Complex Is Made Up Of A Range Of White And Mustard Coloured Buildings. To The Right Of It We See A 3 Storey Stone Built Building. This Is Thought To Be A Wine Tower Belonging To Kinnaird Head Castle, And Is Thought To Date To The 16Th Century. We See The Wine Tower Sitting On Steeply Dipping Metamorphic Rocks, Which Are Part Of The Kinnaird Head Group Of Rocks. It Is These Limestone And Calcareous Schists Which Led To This Area Being Included In This Site Of Special Scientific Interest (Sssi).
