Memorial to the signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. Pictured is an inscribed granite monument to the fifty-eight signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence in 1836.  Forest Avenue High School provided the memorial for the Texas Centennial Celebration in 1936.  The Official Seal of the State with it`s star of five points encircled by olive and live oak branches is inscribed at the top of the monument.  In the background are the reliefs at the West end of the Esplanade in Fair Park featuring Pegasus horses.
