The complex contains the actual building, its courtyard with the watchtower, the kitchen, the guest house, the glacier and the Bibescu family cave, as well as the `St. George` church near the walls of the courtyard. The palace is named after the widow of Mogos who owned the land on which it was built. Mogoşoaia Palace has been in the possession of the Brâncoveanu family for about 119 years, and then passed into the ownership of the Bibescu family.
