The Monastery Was Founded By The Lord Of The Romanian Country Matei Basarab And His Wife Elina, In 1632, The Stone Church Of The Monastery Was Built Between 1642-1646 By The Same Lord And Consecrated On April 3, 1646. The Monastery Is Located In The South Part Of The Town Of Plataresti.
