Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Massed Pipes And Drums Festival, With The Bagpipe At The Center. An Annual Series Of Military Tattoos Performed By British Armed Forces, Commonwealth And International Military Bands And Artistic Performance Teams On The Esplanade Of Edinburgh Castle In The Capital Of Scotland. The Event Is Held Each August As Part Of The Edinburgh Festival. Performers From Over 48 Countries Have Taken Part In The Tattoo, And Around 30 Per Cent Of The 220,000 Audience Each Year Are From Overseas.
