Erekat, An Intense But Affable Diplomat, Represented Yasser Arafat And Advocated For The Palestinian Cause For Decades. He Was A Secretary-General Of The Plo Executive Committee And Was A Close Ally Of Palestinian Authority President, Mahmood Abbas.
