The Upper Levels Comprises Of 2 Circular Domed Shelters Supported On Eight Tuscan Columns. The Colonnade Was Built In 1911 To Commemorate The Coronation Of George V And Was Designed As A Sheltered Structure From Which To Enjoy Open-Air Beachfront Concerts And Performances. It Was Originally Situated In Front Of A Coastguard Station, Which Was Replaced In 1936 By The De La Warr Pavilion.
