The Building Is Constructed Of Red Seneca Sandstone In The Faux Norman Style (A 12Th-Century Combination Of Late Romanesque And Early Gothic Motifs) And Is Appropriately Nicknamed The Castle. It Was Designated A National Historic Landmark In 1965.
