St. Andrew's Church popularly known and affectionately referred to as The Kirk (which means The Church in Scottish) is situated in Chennai (erstwhile Madras) in Tamil Nadu, India. This exquisite marvel of architecture was built and dedicated in 1821 for the Scotsmen in then British army. The body of worshippers today is mainly Indian and cosmopolitan. It has regular visitors from all over the world.
