Waller Street Firehouse Engine Co 30  1. Like many cities, as San Francisco grew it had a greater need for more firehouses. Then, as fire technology changed, older firehouses would become obsolete. 
This structor at 1757 Waller Street in San Francisco, opened in 1895 for fire Engine 30, Truck 12. It was finally sold in 1956. The fire department signs still remain on the building to this day. 
In the decades since, it has been used by various businesses, and today is a family service agency.
