She contended that most Israelis, women included, don't care and can't identify with the Kotel (Western Wall worshipping tradition separating men from women) issue. She noted her father and her brothers were not Bar-Mitzvahed. For her, the peace issue cannot be separated from the fight for equality. Dayan, a secular Jew, was a passionate fighter for peace (with security) and for women's rights, human rights and LGBTQ rights.
